Our head instructor, Jim, has more than 10 years of service in law enforcement, including three years as a US Army Military Policeman. He continues to serve our country as a US Government Contractor. Throughout adulthood, Jim continues to share his knowledge and wisdom in the safe handling and use of firearms with family and friends.  Jim says, "I love what I do, and it shows.  I have the same passion for the Second Amendment today, that I had when I started, if not more."

Our classroom instruction well exceeds VA Concealed Carry Permit requirements. First, we start in the classroom where you'll learn the basics of the safe handling and use of firearms, as well as important legal aspects and ethics. Jim, our head instructor, has decades of experience and is passionate about educating anyone and everyone on firearm use and safety.

After completing classroom training, we offer additional one-on-one instruction at a professional firearms range.  At the range, an instructor will be at your side giving expert advice while you practice. You can bring your own firearm and try out one of ours. We stand by our instructional materials and guarantee you will feel comfortable using a firearm by the end of our course.
